It is from the studio, where I produce feltwear and felted products, Fibre art, and Alpaca inspired gifts. I have washed suri fibre for sale, carded Suri and Huacaya and also packs of hand carded blends in beautiful natural or dyed colours for spinning or felting. 

 

Here you will also find a wide range of Alpaca fibre products, from our Luxury Suri Fino yarn, Huacaya yarn and Alpaca Knitwear, Baby knits, Carded fibre, Socks, Fibre art, Gifts, Felted scarves, Felted wraps and Felt home décor items such as cushions and knee throws.

 

All our alpaca fibre products are 90 % sourced from my very own bred alpacas right here in North Canterbury, 10% is sourced from South Island breeders, 100% New Zealand Alpaca, I only use New Zealand mills to produce our yarn and only commission local knitters to handcraft my knitwear range.

Yarn Products

Suri Fino Yarn

A  ultra-fine 2 ply yarn from Suri Alpaca, with a touch of Huacaya, to produce a divine 100% alpaca fibre.

Commercially spun at a specialist Alpaca mini-mill into a divine silky luxury yarn.

 

Available in 100 gm hanks in following natural colours: Ivory White, Dark Gold Fawn, Chocolate Brown

 

Suri & Huacaya Blended Yarn

Suri Alpaca is blended 50/50 or 70/30 with Huacaya Alpaca to produce an 8 ply *(double knit) silky yet

lightweight yarn. Commercially spun into a rustic yarn by a local Canterbury wool processing mill.

 

Available in 100 gm hanks in following natural colours: Ginger Brown and Chocolate Brown

 

Huacaya Yarn

A soft lightweight rustic yarn 80 % Alpaca 20 % Merino wool, 8 ply (double knit). Commercially spun into a

rustic yarn by a local Canterbury wool processing mill.

 

Available in 100 gm hanks or yarn cakes in following natural colours: Ivory White, Cream, Ginger Brown,

Roan Dark Brown

 

Available as cold Dyed in 100 am yarn cakes in range of pastel and bright colours: Pinks, Blues, Purples,

Oranges, Greens and Rainbow selection

Felted Cat snuggle caves

For the spoilt cat, snuggle caves are a large felted bowl with a small opening, can be also lined with a small alpaca or merino filled cushion. Cats adore them as cozy, warm and private.
